To help residents, visitors, and businesses prepare for a natural disaster or other emergency situation, the Arlington County Office of Emergency Management has created the Arlington Prepares app to help you: - Be Informed - What to do in case of an emergency; up-to-the-minute alerts; sources for local emergency news. - Make a Plan - Create disaster kits; choose emergency meeting places; and quickly access personal and medical information, as well as public and personal emergency contact phone numbers. - Get Involved - How to get involved with a number of local volunteer organizations that provide public services during emergency situations. By knowing where to get information, having the right supplies, and having a plan for you, your loved ones, and your pets, you can protect yourself and your family. The tools in this app help ensure that no matter where you are or what you are doing you'll be prepared when a crisis happens.
